Nicola Blefari Melazzi ha svolto in numerose occasioni il ruolo di revisore di progetto e di valutatore di proposte di progetto.

In molti dei progetti sotto elencati Nicola Blefari Melazzi è stato responsabile delle attività della sua sede. Nel caso dei progetti SIMPLICITY, SMS, CONVERGENCE, BONVOYAGE, SUPERFLUIDITY, Fed4IoT, LOCUSI-NEST  ha avuto o ha la responsabilità di coordinare l’intero consorzio di partners partecipanti alla ricerca. Il costo totale degli 8 progetti, di cui Nicola Blefari Melazzi è stato o è responsabile, è pari a circa 41 M€.
